the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 (King James Version)
The verses above says it all. All of us are sinners,
and we are slaves of sin. The Bible tells us that we are bound to an eternity
in Hell, without Jesus, because God cannot tolerate sin. A price must be
paid, and the cost is high.
But
God still loves us, despite our sin, and as John 3:16 and Romans 10:9 above
tells us that He sent His only Son, (Jesus), who paid the ultimate price
for our sins.
Jesus
lived a perfect life without sin, and then died a horrible grueling death
on the cross, paying those wages of sin. He loved us so much that He did
this for each and every one of us.
If
you believe this with all your heart, believing that God raised Him from
the dead, to save our sins, Confess that you believe in Him, and trust
the Lord Jesus, you will be saved.
