We have two Basset Hounds named Daisy & Smoky. My wife (Amy) had a Basset Hound when she was growing up, and always wanted another one, so I got Daisy for her for an Anniversary present about a few years ago.
Daisy was just 2 months old when we brought her home. We enjoyed her so much that we started looking for a male, and found Smoky the next fall. He's a little less than four months younger than Daisy.
Daisy was born on November 24, 1994. Smoky was born on March 11, 1995.

About a year and a half ago, Daisy and Smoky had their first litter of pups. She had eight of them!

When first born, they didn't have much brown in them, but after about six to eight weeks, they started changing their colors and became tri-colored. They wound up being a pretty bunch of pups.
