I am sure you guys were as in awe of Fields as I was, as well as the entire area. That is truely God's country! Thanks again, Cre

I have enjoyed viewing your fine example of the 80-82 era Goldwing. I recently purchased my first bike, a 1980 Yamaha XS1100 Special, which works well for cruising the city, and jaunts into the country. Classic Wings such as yours have always caught my eye for a distance tourer. I plan to purchase one someday, hopefully in the next 1-2 years. Yours is a wonderful example of how I envision mine to be. I applaud your efforts, it is a beautiful machine!

I spend much of my free time wrenchin' on my bug harem.Just as I was flattenin' my on the cement floor last night around 8'oclock,I finally delivered life back into my '66 I picked up a couple of weeksago. mmmmm, the sweet smell of sun-baked jute in the air and a cold onein my hand. I fantasized of driving her down the road (without the coldone!). It has been 4 yrs. I sold both of my only runnin' beetles to freindsin need. The '57 resto has an ebb and flow as money gets freed up. So,in the mean time, I was getting antsy. I had to drive one around whilethe ' 57 was sittin'! Ahhhh, the "feel" is back 100 %. Tonight, bleed thebrakes and go! "bugss

Comments: I enjoyed your page and yourpassion. I have restored a 1964 beetle that lacks the technical specs youhave but has the same character. The car was originally bought new by mygrandad and given to me much later on. Also, my dad's first car was a beetle.
